I graduated with a Ph.D. in 1996 from the School of Computer Science at the Carnegie Mellon University. I am a professor in the Computer Sciences Department at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. My main areas of interests are security and software engineering. I have a peripheral interest in computational finance, but I have not been actively involved in the area for a few years.
